High-Power Switch Modules Increase PXI Capabilities

The NI PXI-258x series 12A and NI PXI-2564 5A PXI switch modules target high-power military, aerospace, and automotive applications. Both the PXI-2585 and PXI-2586 are single-slot, 3U modules with 10 channels each with operating voltages up to 300 Vac/dc. The NI PXI-2585 switch configures as a 10 x 1 multiplexer and the NI PXI-2586 provides 10 independent SPST (Form A) relays. In ac applications, both modules can switch up to 3 kVA and, in dc applications, handle power levels up to 300W. The 5A PXI-2564 is a general-purpose switch in a single-slot, 3U PXI module. It provides 16 independent SPST (Form A) relays with contact resistances of less than 100 µW and isolation up to 150V.
