Also said to be unique, the instrument features a virtual concatenation differential delay function in through mode, GFP capture function and high-layer protocol analysis, numerous GFP real-time counters for SONET through Layer 4 frames, and a multi-layer measurement capability. Its multi-flow counters tally up to 65,000 traffic flows, and the network tester can perform VLAN 802.1 Q-in-Q measurements and full IP protocol analysis.
