Groomed for the SMU200A RF signal generator and AMU200A baseband signal generator, options now allow them each to work as a single instrument for evaluating 2 x 2 MIMO receivers employed in networks the likes of 3GPP Release 7, 3GPP LTE, WLAN 802.11n, and WiMAX 802.16. The SMU-K74 option for the SMU200A allows users to perform measurements on 2 x 2 MIMO receivers. For those requiring only baseband signals, the AMU200A now has options AMU-B14 and AMU-B15. The instrument's dual-path concept allows two baseband sources to pair up and the AMU-K74 option provides the same functions at baseband as the SMU-K74 option provides for the SMU200A, resulting in a single-instrument solution.
