Described as an affordable, easy-to-use infrared camera for accurate troubleshooting, the i5 monitors and detects the thermal condition of components before failures occur and can inspect areas beyond the reach of thermocouples or other contact-based instruments. The camera specifies an accuracy of 2% and a thermal sensitivity of 0.18°F/0.1°C, compliant with NETA testing requirements. Pocket sized and weighing 12 oz., it employs a focus-free lens with a 2.8", high-resolution color LCD. Other features include a double-molded, rugged design meeting IP43 dust/splash-proof standards, five hours of continuous operation on a single charge, and, for image storage, a 5,000-image miniSD card. Also, the i5 comes with QuickReport PC software to download thermal images with radiometric data and to generate reports, analyze data, and document findings. It comes complete with a 512-MB miniSD Card with adaptor, Li-Ion rechargeable battery with 100 to 240 Vac adaptor/charger, QuickReport PC software with USB cable, built-in lens shutter, and hand strap.
