The latest software for the 3500 Series hand-held radio test set, version 3.5.1, includes features to extend the test capabilities such as a tracking generator option, which allows users to test and align duplexers in the field. The updated software also provides support for the P25 testing option. The 3500 Series weighs less than 8 lbs. and provides extensive test capabilities for testing AM, FM, and now P25 radios. The instrument provides an integrated power meter, RF frequency counter, AM and FM modulation tests, audio tests including SINAD and distortion analysis, and an optional 1-GHz spectrum analyzer and audio oscilloscope.
