Edmund Optics’ Laser Speckle Reducers suit a wide variety of beam homogenization, 3D scanning, metrology, microscopy, and interferometry applications. They offer diffusing angles of 1°, 10°, and 20°, feature integrated drive electronics, and provide vibration-less speckle reduction. The components employ four electro-optic polymers, which selectively move each reducer’s central diffuser along the X and Y axis to form a circular pattern of motion. This allows the reducer to adjust the laser speckle pattern to appear as a uniform distribution of light. Additionally, the Laser Speckle Reducers are USB powered and are available with either a 5 mm or 10 mm clear aperture. EDMUND OPTICS INC., Barrington, NJ. (800) 363-1992.
