Portable Receiver/Antenna Accelerates Interference Hunting

Nov. 8, 2011
The R&S PR100 Series portable receiver operates over a frequency range from 9 kHz to 7.5 GHz.

The R&S PR100 Series portable receiver operates over a frequency range from 9 kHz to 7.5 GHz. Combined with the R&S HE300 Series GPS-enabled directional antenna, it quickly detects and locates the source of cellular band interference. The portable receiver provides 10-MHz of real-time IF spectrum and demodulation over a bandwidth from 150 Hz to 500 kHz.  The R&S HE300 Series directional antenna’s GPS capability provides advanced mapping and records bearing lines to more quickly and accurately locate the source of interference. In addition, the R&S PR100 includes an audio tone indicator of signal strength. ROHDE & SCHWARZ INC., Columbia, MD. (888) 837-8772.
