Vibration Analysis Solution Merges Time-Frequency App, USB 2.0 Digital Signal Analyzer

Feb. 12, 2014
To deliver more comprehensive machinery vibration analysis, ADLINK Technology packaged the Visual Signal DAQ Express time-frequency analysis (TFA) application with its USB-2405 24-bit, USB 2.0 dynamic signal acquisition (DSA) module for integrated electronic piezoelectric (IEPE) accelerometer and microphone-based vibration measurement.

To deliver more comprehensive machinery vibration analysis, ADLINK Technology packaged the Visual Signal DAQ Express time-frequency analysis (TFA) application with its USB-2405 24-bit, USB 2.0 dynamic signal acquisition (DSA) module for integrated electronic piezoelectric (IEPE) accelerometer and microphone-based vibration measurement. Together they can process acquired data through built-in calculation and algorithm modules for immediate conversion to meaningful machinery-vibration information (e.g., sound-level conversion, root-mean-square calculation, rotary-speed calculation, etc.). Visual Signal DAQ Express, developed by AnCAD Technology, has an interactive user interface that simplifies acquisition and analysis of noise and vibration signals. Graphical, ready-to-use functional modules facilitate setup of the USB-2405 DSA. Visual Signal also features data acquisition and post-processing, frequency-domain conversion, digital filtering, data logging, and exporting. The USB-2405, used for portable time-frequency analysis, combines high accuracy and performance with TFA software.
