Touting capabilities common to more expensive instruments, the Model Z8900 LCR meter exhibits a 0.1% accuracy and offers six measurement modes: C+R, C+D, L+R, L+Q, R+Q, or Z+Θ at test frequencies of 100 Hz, 120 Hz, 1 kHz, or 10 kHz with drive voltages of 0.1V, 0.3V, or 1.0V at measurements rates to 12 per second. It integrates a comparator for sorting components by value and tolerance, RS-232 interface, and a parts-handler interface. Other features include a five-digit dual LCD, test leads with Kelvin clips, a radial-lead test fixture with axial lead adaptor, and a shorting bar.
