Lab Manager 5.2, the latest version of EdenTree Technologies' network lab automation software, works with any kind of network equipment. It manages the physical-layer infrastructure to provide a software-controlled lab environment that lets engineers remotely manage and use lab resources. Its new features are designed for multisite, global labs, while its application programming interface (API) supports the increasing number of test facilities that incorporate Lab Manager into fully automated test environments.

Users can launch test scripts associated with specific devices remotely from Lab Manager's graphical user interface (GUI), making it easier for users in offsite locations to control devices in a central lab and run test scripts linked to those devices. Lab Manager 5.2 also supports long-haul links on certain physical-layer switches, so test equipment in different locations can be connected. Localization settings even let users anywhere view reports based on activity in their chosen time zone.
