The R3768 two-port and R3770 four-port network analyzers employ a unique receiver architecture to measure multi-port passive components found in multi-band mobile handsets, WLAN devices, and both radar and satellite equipment. Both analyzers claim to exhibit the industry's fastest sweep speeds. The R3768 has a measurement frequency range of 300 kHz to 8 GHz while the R3770 extends that to 20 GHz. With 16 channels, both instruments specify a typical dynamic range of 125 dB at 8 GHz and measurement speeds of 5 ms/point. Additionally, they tout a typical trace noise of 0.0025 dBRMS. Other features include a 12.1" touch-screen SVGA TFT LCD that allows a measurement window to be divided into as many as 16 split windows. Prices for the R3768 and R3770 are $38,000 and $55,900, respectively. ADVANTEST AMERICA MEASURING SOLUTIONS, Edison, NJ. (866) 414-0870.
