Eliminating the need for multiple differential amplifiers in PC peripheral and remote display systems, the AD8133 integrates three differential line drivers in a 24-pin LFCSP measuring 4 mm x 4 mm. The device exploits a unique internal common-mode feedback topology that provides an output gain and phase balance of –60 dB at 50 MHz, suppressing EMI radiation and enabling the use of unshielded, Category-5 twisted-pair cable. Each of the three amplifiers has a fixed gain of 2 to compensate for the attenuation of line termination resistors. Designed primarily for RGB signals, the device can also be used for any type of analog signals or high-speed data transmission. Other features include a 225-MHz bandwidth and a slew rate of 1,600 V/µs. Price is $2.59 each/1,000. ANALOG DEVICES INC., Norwood, MA. (800) 262-5643.
