Through use of the firm’s DigiTrim technology, the AD860x family of op amps is said to deliver 10 times the accuracy of standard CMOS amplifiers with no additional trimming or adjustments for maintenance. The devices are offered in single, dual and quad configurations in SOT, MSOP and TSSOP housings.Features include a low offset voltage of less than 300 µV, rail-to-rail inputs and outputs, and low bias current over the full temperature range. The amplifiers also offer an 8-MHz bandwidth for low-distortion designs and accurate tracking of high-speed inputs. The DigiTrim technology involves use of internal DACs, digital circuitry and memory to adjust performance parameters. After packaging, the devices pass through a test program in which digital signals are used to adjust parameters such as offset.
