Suitable for IC test applications, the uPC835 junction field-effect transistor op amp offers a slew rate of 9 V/µs and a capacitive load of 4,000 pF, said to be four times higher than comparable devices. This allows test engineers to test higher capacitive loads per channel and a wider variety of ICs with different capacitances. The op amp also features a low input offset of ±3 mV maximum. Other features include a 3 mm x 3 mm thin-scaled small-outline package and an operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C. Engineering samples are available now at a price of $1.20 each with volume production scheduled to begin this month. For further information, call NEC ELECTRONICS AMERICA INC., Santa Clara, CA.
