For photodiode-based designs requiring high-speed operation, the OPA380 transimpedance amplifier provides a gain bandwidth of 90 MHz with an offset of less than 25 µV and an offset drift of 0.1 µV/°C. The device calibrates every 100 µs and exhibits a dynamic range up to five decades, allowing for the measurement of signal currents from 10 nA to 1 mA. Other features include a 50 pA bias current, 6.5 mA quiescent current, and an operating voltage range from 2.7V to 5.5V. Available in MSOP-8 and SO-8 packages, price is $1.95 each/1,000.
