Pete May joined PRIMEDIA Business Magazines & Media as a Senior Vice President in August 2001. May, a former executive from CMP Media (formerly Miller Freeman), has over 20 years of business-to-business magazine experience. He continues to focus on increasing revenue and profitability, building strong editorial platforms, and developing strong relationships with both the customers and magazines’ staffs.

Most recently, May served as vice president of a key product group of CMP Media. He has had responsibility for Network Magazine, the fastest-growing information technology publication in terms of percent advertising page growth, and tele.com. In addition, May was CEO of Miller Freeman’s subsidiary in Geneva, Switzerland, managing the acquisition and integration of the leading Swiss publishing company into Miller Freeman. He also founded and managed M&T International Marketing, the advertising representative for more than 70 tech publications in Europe, Asia and Latin America.

Pete is an honors graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara with a double major in history and business economics.
