TRW Auto to buy majority stake in Dalphimetal

TRW Automotive Holdings Corp. plans to purchase a 68.4% stake in Dalphimetal, which manufactures airbags and steering wheels, for Euro 113 million (approximately $137 million) plus the assumption of Euro 84 million ($103 million) in debt.

TRW Automotive Holdings Corp. plans to purchase a 68.4% stake in Dalphimetal, which manufactures airbags and steering wheels, for Euro 113 million (approximately $137 million) plus the assumption of Euro 84 million ($103 million) in debt. Dalphimetal's customers include Peugeot, Renault, Volkswagen and Volvo. The company employs approximately 2,000 people with production facilities located in Spain, Portugal, France and Tunisia.
