Engineering on Friday ‘toon: The Thinker 2.0
I recently came across an article I wrote years and years ago for Machine Design. I had drawn a little cartoon for the piece. I was trying to make some sort of poignant statement about automation. Like these bots should do our work so we all can just "think."
It's about halfway down the page... "Industrial Robot Sales Hit All Time High, But What About Industry Jobs?"
I totally forgot about it!
I think the message is still spot on today. And I remember I wanted to draw it way better someday. I got the digital drawing tablet, the software, and the time.
But, after doing so... I think I like the original better. :)
