Adapter Mounts Pentium Modules Horizontally

Aug. 1, 1998

Designed to mount a Pentium processor module horizontally, parallel to the board instead of the traditional vertical orientation, Slot Saver low-profile, L-shaped adapter accommodates standard Pentium II modules and can be mounted on a single VME card or motherboard to perform in multi-processor designs. Standard processor interchange and upgrade capability is retained for maximum design flexibility. The adapter has 64 pins in four rows with pin spacing of 2 mm between pins and rows. Width is 5.475" and installed height is 0.845". A 0.200" clearance space is provided between Pentium modules and baseboards.
