Axial Fans’ Sealed Electronics Toughen Them For Hostile Duties

July 1, 1999

A proprietary sealing process is applied to the Panaflo FBA line of axial fans to protect their circuitry, pc boards and connections against invasive moisture, enabling them to easily withstand humidities to 85%. They’re also resistant to dust and high ambient temperatures, making them suitable for hostile remote applications in refrigeration, vending machines and cellular base stations. The axial fans are available for operation with a choice of signal outpus and feature low noise and vibration. All sizes up to 120 mm are offered in 12 or 24 vdc models, with power consumption as low as 0.82W.
