Board Connects PC/104 To INTERBUS I/O

Aug. 1, 2000

Offered in the standardized PC/104 format, the IBS PC 104 SC-T controller board allows any PC with a PC/104 bus to interface to an INTERBUS I/O network using the functions of the company's Generation 4 firmware. Current advancements in the firmware provide increased messaging throughput over the network, advanced diagnostics, more options for cabling, and support for INTERBUS INLINE and LOOP devices.
On-board, programmable data pre-processing functions using IEC 1131-3 programming language provide host system independent data handling. These, and other functions, are accessed via supplied INTERBUS software.
Other features include a compact footprint and an integrated watchdog circuit that resets the I/O if there is an application program failure.
