Available in 5W and 10W power ratings and designed for vertical mounting on pc boards, the Series UV power resistors use ceramic flameproof construction. The resistance wire is wound on a ceramic core, and leads are welded to the assembly. It is potted into high-quality ceramic cases using a high-temperature, inorganic compound that provides high thermal conductivity and humidity resistance. Leads are tinned copper, solderable and weldable. Both leads are at one end of the ceramic case which has standoffs for vertical mounting on pc boards. Resistance values are from 0.01 ohms to 45 kiloohms and 91 kiloohms with tolerances to ±0.01%.
