The RAC10 1A series of chip array attenuators is now available in 18 attenuation factor values ranging from 0.5 to 20 dB. The 1 x 1-mm surface-mount chip arrays deliver a 57% pc board space savings compared to conventional attenuation circuits requiring three discrete resistors. With an attenuation range of DC ≤ f ≤ 3 GHz, the RAC10 1A series is suited for use in circuits from DC up to UHF band frequencies. The arrays are designed for signal conditioning and impedance matching circuits in wireless applications, including WLAN, digital and cordless phones, modems, pagers, audio equipment, and transmission amplifiers. They operate in a temperature range of -40°C to 125°C and have a rated input of 100 mW/ package with an impedance of 50 ohms. The RAC10 1A comes packaged on 2-mm pitch paper tape, costs $25.00 per 1,000 in quantities of 100,000, and is delivered from stock to 8 weeks.
