CompactPCI Products Perform Avionics Test & Simulation

Oct. 1, 1999

A complete family of seventeen, 3U CompactPCI cards, software, and systems for the testing and simulation of a wide variety of avionics databuses is available. The cards provide interfaces to the MIL-STD-1553, ARINC 429, ARINC 708 Weather Radar and ARINC 717 data buses. Many of the interface boards can be operated through the firm's CoPilot software, bringing easy-to-use GUI software operation into the test laboratory. The same applications can be used on the desktop, in a notebook PC or in the lab. The boards are available in four configurations, ranging from a simple single function board to a complex, multi-terminal board with concurrent monitor and error injection. All the boards are based on a high-speed digital signal processor/memory core, and include API software libraries and drivers for Windows 95/98/NT.
