Ready for deployment in military environments, the MilSystem 800 Extreme Rugged COTS computer leverages the design of the RuffSystem 800 and employs MIL-STD-D38999 connectors. It consists of a LittleBoard 800 single-board computer in a MIL-STD-810 RuffSystem enclosure. The dust- and splash-proof system supports a Pentium M processor operating at speeds up to 1.4 GHz and provides conductive cooling, requiring no fans or holes for ventilation. Other features include an 8” x 10” x 3” conductive-cooled enclosure meeting MIL-STD-810 for shock and vibration, support for 1 GB of DDR memory, an operating temperature range from -40?C to +75°C, Gigabit Ethernet, 10/100 Ethernet, four USB 2.0 ports, four serial ports, video, audio, and PS/2 keyboard-mouse interfaces. A third connector is available for an additional 55 I/O signals. Samples of the MilSystem will be available late this quarter. AMPRO COMPUTERS INC., San Jose, CA. (800) 966-5200.
