CPCI SBC Offers Performance Choices

Based on the 440BX chipset, users of the IBC 2600/Castor 6U CompactPCI single-board computer (SBC) can choose between Pentium III FC-PGA processors operating at up to 850 MHz or socket 370 Celeron CPUs working at speeds to 733 MHz. The board supports up to 512 MB of dynamic SDRAM—tECC or non-ECC—twith 256 KB of cache on the Pentium III module and 128 KB of cache on the Celeron module.
On-board features include dual 10/100Base-TX Ethernet channels, dual enhanced IDE, Ultra-2 SCSI supporting transfer rates up to 80 MB/s, and Intel 69030 AGP video capability with a resolution up to 1,280 x 1,024. Operating systems supported include Windows 3.x/95/98/NT, QNX, Linux and Solaris. Price for a minimally configured board starts at $1,849.
