Positioning as the company's most powerful CompactPCI processor board, the PP 221/01x supports two Xeon processors operating at either 2.4 GHz or 2 GHz with the support of a 533-MHz or 400-MHz front side bus, respectively. Supporting up to 4 GB of DDR ECC DRAM, the 2.4 GHz processors can access memory at a peak bandwidth of 4.2 GB/s in tandem, while the 2 GHz processors access memory at a peak of 3.2 GB/s. Both processors feature 512 KB of L2 cache, a NetBurst Microarchitecture, and hyper-threading technology. Other board features include Ultra-160 SCSI and UDMA100 EIDE interfaces and an operating temperature from 0°C to 55°C. Additionally, the board is compatible with Linux, Windows NT/2000/ XP/Server 2003, VxWorks, and QNX.
