The new IH Series of miniature board-mount dc/dc converters supply 2W in industry standard 7-pin SIP and 14-pin DIP packages, with the former measuring only 0.78" x 0.30" x 0.40" and te latter, 0.40" x 0.80" x 0.28". High yielding surface-mount technology and toroidal magnetics reduce radiated EMI. Input-to-output isolation is 1,000 Vdc with 3,000 Vdc isolation available as an option. The IH Series includes 12 models with dual output voltages of ±5, ±9, ±12 and ±15 VDC with 5% accuracy. Input voltages are 5V, 12V or 24V, ±10%. Typical efficiency is 75%. Operating temperature range is -40°C to 71°C without derating. No external components are required for full operation. Applications for these products include portable instruments, mobile equipment, LANs and telecomm systems in electrically noisy environments where high isolation is required. OEM quantity price for the IH Series is less than $9 each. Prototype quantities are available from stock.
