Offering the functionality of two single-port devices in a single package, the H5012 and H5014 dual Gigabit Ethernet magnetic modules serve to provide electrical isolation and low common-mode emissions in Ethernet switches. Helping permit Gigabit Ethernet to be implemented over Category 5 cable systems, the dual magnetic modules are IEEE 802.3ab compliant, are designed for 1:1 turns ratio applications, and are approved for use with Broadcom and Marvell transceivers. The modules offer the functionality of two single-port devices in just one package, with the dual module occupying 20% less board space than the two separate devices. PULSE, San Diego, CA.
