The MB203A board-level module functions as a precision ±5.5-digit digital voltmeter (DVM) with a direct-connect interface to many standard 16-character by two-line or 16-character by one-line LCD/VFD character display modules. This pc-board module targets precision measurement applications requiring a high-resolution analog-to-digital converter (ADC) and integral multiline character-display driver interface. Virtually any dc input can be converted, scaled, and displayed with resolution up to seven full digits plus sign. The MB203A operates from a single 5-V dc supply at 9 mA maximum. It's shipped with factory default settings and calibration data stored in 1 kbyte of on-board EEPROM. In single quantities, the MB203A module is priced at $98 each.
