DAS-Wizard is an add-in for Microsoft Excel for data acquisition directly to Excel cells in a spreadsheet. The tool requires no programming skills. Data acquisition parameters are filled in on a property sheet where each choice is clearly described and constrained to valid choices. Input or output is launched with a single button click, and data is gathered to the cells or output from the cells in the user's spreadsheet.A single icon launches the DAS-Wizard property window, where data acquisition parameters are selected. Users can choose from any of the DAS boards installed in their system and create task profiles for acquiring high- or low-speed data. Four tab windows on the property sheet, labeled General, Data, Scan and Trigger, contain all the parameters that control the DAS boards as well as spreadsheet setup.
