Engineered to reduce both cost and time to market, the AT89C5131 and AT89C5132 eight-bit flash microcontrollers (MCUs) integrate a full-speedUSB 2.0-compatible controller and on-chip peripherals. The 5131 and 5132 include 32 KB and 64 KB of flash memory, respectively. The USB controller of each device accommodates both isochronous- and bulk-transfer modes. Offered as a general-purpose USB MCU, the AT89C5131 MCU finds applications in the computer and industrial equipment markets. It includes a keyboard interface, 1 KB EEPROM and SPI. The AT89C5132 MCU includes interfaces to most consumer mass storage devices, including IDE/ATAPI, CD/DVD, compact flash, multimedia card, data flash, nand flash, and smart media card. It’s human machine interfaces (HMIs) include keyboard, LED drive, LCD, 10-bit A/D converter, and voice recording types. Package options for the AT89C5131 microcontroller include MLF/QFN48, SO28, VQFP64 and PLCC52, while the AT89C5132 MCU is available in a VQFP80 package.
