A new panel-mount joystick has been designed for clean room medical and a variety of industrial applications. The M723 is a rugged, NEMA 4 joystick having a fungus-inert sealed elastomer enclosure with green LEDs that can produce backlighting in mid-level ambient conditions. Measuring 93.8 x 30.7 x 36.3 mm, the M723 joystick can be panel mounted in a horizontal or vertical position. A long or short handle returns to center after actuation. The military version adds extra shielding for better EMI/RFI protection. The joystick is compatible with the rest of the company's MET keypads and keyboards, as well as third-party units. The device can be connected through a computer's PS/2 port. Pricing is $109 each. For further information, call STACOSWITCH, Costa Mesa, CA. (714) 549-3041.
