The JB series of low-profile, washable tactile switches is sealed to withstand process automation. The devices give crisp tactile feedback and positive indication of circuit transfer. They have a long life of 5 million operations minimum. The rubber seal construction of the single-pole, single-throw (SPST) tactiles prevents contact contamination, and molded-in terminals ensure integrity. A slanted design provides a spring-type action to ensure secure pc-board mounting. Terminal spacing conforms to standard 0.100-in. pc-board grid mounting. Measuring 10 mm2, the switches are available in a number of actuator styles and heights. The JB15FP tactile switch costs $0.76 each in 1000-unit quantities.
