Xprotolab takes position as the first mixed-signal oscilloscope (MSO) with an arbitrary waveform generator (AWG) housed in a 1" x 1.6" DIP module. Mounting on a breadboard or PCB, it employs Atmel's ATXMEGA32A4 microcontroller with 32 KB of flash, 4 KB of SRAM, and 1KB of EEPROM. Via a 0.96", 128x64 pixel OLED display, the module provides the functions of an eight-bit MSO with simultaneous analog/digital sampling, two analog channels, and eight digital channels. Maximum input voltage is ±10V with a maximum sampling rate of 2 Msamples/s. Analog bandwidth is 320 kHz. Price is $49. SAELIG CO., Pittsford, NY. (888) 772-3544.
