For PGA-based designs facing obsolescence due to the discontinuation of parts, the PC-PLCC_PGA-EP1810-S-01 PGA-to-PLCC adapter allows users to employ Altera's EP1810LI-45 PLCC in place of the unavailable EP1810LI-45 M PGA. The same pc board can be used without the need for modification or redesign. The adapter provides PLCC mounting pads on top and is installed into the PGA pattern and soldered. It is a 68-pin, 1.27 mm pitch PLCC with gold-plated pins, replacing the EP1810LI-45 in a PGA68 with an 11 x 11 array on 2.54 mm centers. Price is $60.56 each/100 IRONWOOD ELECTRONICS, Eagan, MN.
