PMC Module Performs Multiple Functions

Sept. 1, 1999

Well-suited for industrial automation and data acquisition applications requiring multifunction capabilities on one module, the PMC-UL-GPIO is a PMC module that combines 16 channels of analog I/O and 16 channels of digital I/O into a single-wide PMC module. It has eight channels of 12-bit analog input running at sampling rates up to 100 ksps, eight channels of 12-bit analog output at up to 100-ksps conversion rate and 16 general-purpose buffered digital I/O lines with interrupt capability. The module is designed for industrial data acquisition applications that require a mix of analog input, analog output and digital TTL I/O in a PowerPC or Pentium-based VME single-board computer.
