PPMC Module Boasts PowerPC 750 Processor

Configured with a 366-MHz PowerPC processor, 1 Mbyte of L2 cache, 64 Mbytes of SDRAM, 4.5 Mbytes of flash memory, two serial ports, and a JTAG port, the Palomar II is a PPMC module that's well-suited for telecom and datacom customers designing-in PMC sites on their baseboards. Combined with a real-time operating system such as VxWorks, the module brings the processing power and memory of a 6U card to the PMC form factor. It can be customized in as little as eight weeks. Volume pricing is around $1500 each.
