Programmable Skew Clock Buffers Suit Communications Apps

Nov. 1, 2000

Offering designers both improved performance and reduced board space are new TurboClock programmable skew clock buffers in frequencies up to 133 MHz. Packaged in either 32-PLCC, 28-pin QSOP or 24-pin SOIC, the TurboClock and TurboClock Plus family of products assist board designers in solving clock distribution problems in high-speed telecom, networking and storage area network markets. The TurboClock products aid in clock distribution by doubling or multiplying the source clock and providing skew control pins that allow designers to adjust clock skews, thereby compensating for board trace and backplane connector propagation delays. Designed for both commercial and industrial temperature ranges, the devices are priced from $8.44 to $17.19 each/10,000.
