SBC Taps Into Pentium III/Celeron Power

The Neptune-P3 single-board computer (SBC) supports socket-370 Pentium III and Celeron processors up to 850 MHz. It is said to provide versatile expansion options via embedded, pin-and-socket versions of the PCI and AGP busses. Features include support for up to 512 MB of SDRAM, a 10/100 Ethernet interface, and SoundBlaster Pro and Windows Sound System-compatible audio. I/O provisions include two FIFO serial ports, one enhanced parallel port, PS/2 keyboard and mouse ports, and two USB ports. The board operates on 5V only and 12V is required for the CPU fan and audio subsystem. Pricing for the board with a 566-MHz Celeron CPU is $485 each/100.
