Oct. 1, 1998

This PowerPC Reference Platform (PReP) based, single-slot VME64 single-board computer (SBC) with PowerPC 750 and G4 CPUs comes in both air and conduction cooled versions. The PPC4 includes dedicated Level 2 cache support, fast access DRAM and EDC, fast flash and EEPROM, 100BaseT Ethernet support and PMC expansion. PCI system expansion goes beyond the two on-board PMC slots on the PPC4 with multiple standalone 6U PMC carrier boards linked via PCI to Slot 1 SBC. PMCs offer MIL-1553, ATM, serial ports, graphics, flash, SRAM and EEPROM expansion.
