Applications as diverse as I/O boards and medical electronics are candidates for a new series of surface-mount precision metal film resistors featuring tight temperature coefficients, close tolerances, and small quantity reel packaging. The PRC Series of chip-style resistors comes in 0402, 0603, 0805, 1206 and 1210 sizes and in resistance ranges of 10 ohms to 1 Megaohm in E24 and E96 standard decade values. Standard tolerances are ±0.05% to ±1% for 0805 and 1206 sizes and ±0.1% to ±1% for 0402, 0603 and 1210 sizes. Temperature coefficients span a ±5 ppm/°C through ±50 ppm/°C range. PRC resistors are protected against moisture by a multilayer coating system.
