DLP LightCommander

Logic PD’s DLP LightCommander Development Kit is built around the Texas Instruments Digital Micromirror Device (DMD). It’s essentially an extremely modular DLP projection system. For example, it has a visible light and infrared LED light sources. The PC interface allows control of the XGA resolution (1024 by 768) Series 450 DMD micromirror timing, including programmable and variable-speed spatial light modulation. The standard user-defined control interface includes binary patterns, 8-bit grayscale, and video projection mode. The controller board interfaces include USB and an internal serial peripheral interface (SPI). Video input is RGB or HDMI. The system comes with a Nikon AF NIKKOR 50-mm f/1.8D lens. Pricing starts at $2499.
