The board uses a symmetric multiprocessing architecture that allows the processors to operate as a scalable resource managed under SMP Linux or as coupled multiprocessors under VxWorks. Highlight features include single, dual, or quad CPU configurations, a shared-memory architecture supporting 1 GB of DDR memory with a 2.1-GB/s peak bandwidth, dual PCI-X PMC sites, legacy VME support, Gigabit Ethernet, and ANSI/VITA 35 compliant PMC-to-P2 signal routing.
