Position Sensor Shrugs Off Abuse

A Hall-effect magnetic field sensor and a patented magnetic circuit combine in the Model 155 non-contacting position sensor to convert radial motion into a voltage output signal. The sensors, which have only one moving part and all circuitry encapsulated in epoxy, are immune to water, dirt, dust, lubricants, shock and vibration. The fully sealed sensors operate at 100% while submerged in salt water. Operating temperature range is from -40ºC to 150ºC. A bronze sleeve bearing extends rotational life to 150 million revolutions (no side load). A number of standard electrical angles are offered with output of 0.5 vdc to 4.5 vdc.
