The Coiltronics high-current HC7 surface-mount inductors can be used in voltage-regulator module (VRM) circuits with higher-speed switch-mode applications requiring lower inductance, lower voltage, and high current. Featuring a flat-wire construction, they meet the electrical needs of next-generation microprocessors, high-current dc-dc converters, workstations, routers, telecom soft switches, and basestations. They have an inductance range from 0.20 to 4.81 µH, a current range from 35.8 to 9.8 A, and a frequency range up to 500 kHz. The inductors cost from $0.65 to $0.70 each in lots of 25,000.
