The SCA 2510 development platform contains all the hardware and tools required for software-defined radio design compliant with the SCA mandate for all future U.S. military radios. It consists of a 7640 software radio transceiver PCI card and the PC workstation runs Linux, development tools, and the SCARI++ SCA core framework from the communications research center. The hardware and software are integrated to ease development. The 7640 includes two 14-bit, 105-MHz ADCs, a Virtex-II Pro FPGA, 9-channel DMA controller, and up to 512 MB of DDR SDRAM.
