Headset Reference Design Enables HD Audio

The WM229 ear-bud headset reference employs the company’s WM2002 digital ambient noise canceling IC. Delivering HD audio performance, the WM229 ‘white label’ digital ANC headset is compatible with existing consumer products including mobile phones and is easily customized and branded by manufacturers. Features include up to 30 dB peak active ambient noise cancellation, over 15 hours of HD audio playback with ANC on a single charge, a voice microphone, and an in-line control pod with which the user can select one of the three ANC modes.
