Three standard optical fields of view and three standard fiber-optic cable lengths allow the OS4000 series of industrial high-speed infrared transmitters to measure temperature from 200 to 1600°C. This CE-compliant product has a fast response time of 1 ms and adjustable emissivity from 0.05 to 0.99. Other standard features include built-in laser sighting for lens probe positioning, linear analog output, high and low alarm outputs, fiber-optic gain adjust, maximum and minimum temperature measurement, and an RS232 interface. Windows-based interface software controls changing response time, high and low alarm set points, and data logging. Transmitter mounting bracket and mounting nuts are included. Water cool jacket, vacuum bushing, air purge collar, and a mounting bracket for the fiber-optic lens probe are all optional accessories. The OS4000 series is well suited for induction heating, vacuum chamber, metal processing, and power generation applications. Pricing starts at $1495. OMEGA ENGINEERING INC., Stamford, CT.
