With a focus on satellite, radar, banking, and other synchronous applications, the ACB-104.ULTRA is a PC/104+ RS-232/422/485/530 module that specifies data rates up to 10 Mb/s. The module derives part of its strength from a Zilog Z16C32IUSC and includes a DMA controller, 256 KB of RAM, and a 32-Byte FIFO buffer. It operates with either 3.3V or 5V signal levels and supports a variety of protocols under Windows 2000/XP, including HDLC/SDLC, bi-sync, mono-sync, and raw (bit-shifter) modes via the company's SeaMAC driver.
